FF is already being far behind Chrome in popularity and I wish so much it was a technically superior product, yet mismanagement like that only puts it into an even worse position. Please fix this mess of a situation asap. oh god, I can't even simply ask you to do it properly at this point, it's completely f**ed up. This looks pretty much like the transition to FF 57 except it's way worse because it came out of nowhere and I don't see a way to get back my FF customization. This situation is completely ridiculous and backwards, there was no update or warning that you're changing some policies and since so many addons don't work (even themes!) I can only assume this came as a surprise to many addon devs as well. At which point I don't even know what to do.

And even then, when I find a replacement for the first one in my list: AdBlock Plus, it shows me a few other AdBlocks (again, my choice of ABP is because it has some features other adblocks don't have), it says "Download failed. So that means I have to re-establish my whole environment with new addons. Even worse, when I click "find a replacement" on one of them, it doesn't actually look for replacements, it simply lands me on the addons page. My work heavily relies on some of those addons, so it's incredibly irritating. That just removes at least an hour of my time only to set up a browser that was fine and dandy just yesterday, without an option to keep the old version or postpone the decision. Today when I turned on my PC and opened FF (first thing I do) the first thing that struck me was that ALL of my addons are disabled for no good reason and I have to "find replacements" for them. So please read it and do something about the problem. This is not a rant but a breakdown of my experience with it. I am pretty sure I'm not the only person with this issue.
